When I shopped around for this item, I considered many suppliers but decided to go with amazon for 2 reasons: reliable delivery and a better price than most of their competitors!!
Build quality is second to none: but you'd probably expect this from Kenwood. It's a nice addition to the attachments I own for my Kenwood Chef.
I use the potato peeler for most root vegetables when doing casseroles for my freezer - it just takes out the hassle of peeling that big amount of veg! I particularly like to use it when cleaning Jersey Royal Potatoes. I tend to buy them covered in soil - and the job of cleaning them is done in 2 minutes in the potato peeler if you want the skins cleaned, but still not quite scrubbed off completely.
The reason I gave this 4 stars is because I think a product like this has a limit to how good/useful it can be on an every day basis. You will also need to think about storage - like all the attachments for the chef, they can be bulky. Glad I bought it though.
