I have no real problem with the juicer or blender, although, I seem to have a build up of unpulped fruit at the bottom of the blender making the handy tap somewhat useless, but that I can live with. The real problem for me is the Centrifugal juicer, it doesn't clip in easily and is even harder to remove. Once removed I'm left with a fruity mess where the juicer sits. It seems to be leaking out from the collector point into a hole which doesn't seem to have any purpose except making a convenient escape for the juice which then proceeds to leak out of the bottom onto the kitchen work surface. A bit worried it will start to smell and become unhygienic. A big thumbs down for a fairly expensive piece of equipment

I bought this at the weekend in the hope of getting more fruit into my life, and I have to say I am dissapointed with it's performance. In the book that comes with it, it says that you can use ice and frozen fruit- not so! The fruit does not crush and blend, but instead gets stuck at the bottom of the blender under the blades. I thought the blades would be razor sharp and strong but obviously not. A real let down.

Appalling design. I should have read the other reviews first. The citrus juicer component works fine but this is not enough to counteract the inefficiency of the centrifugal juicer or, to a lesser degree, the smoothie maker.

To be fair, it is possible that practice in chopping the smoothie ingredients more finely would have helped the smoothie maker do its job - so much stuff left untouched beneath the blades, kept having to scoop it all up to where the blades could come into contact with it. And the tap clogged up every single time.

The centrifugal juicer swallowed an amazing quantity of fruit as we watched the spout expectantly. Slowly realised that all the juice and pulp was being diverted through the body of the machine out through the base and deposited all over the worktop. Big clean up and start again - same thing happened.

It is now sitting in a skip at my local recycling depot.

Terrible Design, very disappointed with Kenwood. The juice leaks into a hole going into the body of the machine which you can not clean. We started to notice lots of fruit flies in the home and then it twigged that I could not clean the hole where the juice seeped through. We lifted off the smoothie blender to find fruit fly breeding!! The machine is now outside and we are going to write to Kenwood to complain and send them the machine back.

This is a badly designed product; Firstly, it's too large, the photos are deceptive. The juicer leaks fruit pulp into the motor housing and the blades in the smoothie maker are too far from the base of the jug, so you get left with un-chopped fruit in the base. The citrus juicer works OK but it takes up too much work surface to just use for oranges! I have returned mine.

I got this for Christmas for the girlfriend. To date we've found it not to be the bees-knees we expected. The Citrus Juice Extractor on the right-hand side of the unit is tempermental. It will work sporadically, oft times it will make a noise but the juicer will not spin. The spout of the Citrus Extractor collection tray is not easy to clean at all, leaving a black scum after a few uses (probably not too hygenic).
The blender is working fine, though, although the lid will slide clock-wise after blending for a few seconds, causing the safety-latch to disengage, thus switching off the blender. A little annoying.
It is handy to have both citrus juicer and blender together but it's not quite there yet. And it's a shame you can't buy it in chrome, but that's just being picky!
