A stylish new toaster from Kenwood with lot's of functions designed to deliver perfect toast. We have also built in some features which make it safe to use. First of all it has "coolwall " sides so there is no danger of little fingers being burned (or big ones for that matter) if they touch the side of the toaster when it is in use. How many times have you put crumpets or other small pieces of bread into your toaster and when trying to get them out either burned your fingers or even worse used a knife? This toaster (as with all Kenwood toasters) has a "Hi- Rise" carriage lift so that it is easy to remove crumpets etc. There is a cancel button which will stop the toasting process mid cycle, an important safety feature should your bread become jammed. How many times has your toast popped up but you have been otherwise engaged and it goes cold? A re-heat button, which will enable you to warm your toast without further browning. Then there is the problem of toasting bread from frozen. What can happen is that the bread is toasted on the outside but still cold in the middle. This button will allow the bread to be toasted inside and out. It also has what we call variable width slots. This means that it will accommodate both thin slices and for those that like them, door stop slices or things such as bagels.
