5.0 out of 5 stars Almost Flawless 2 Jan 2010
The best thing about the SlimBlade Media Mouse is its build quality. I've had one for around 6 weeks and it always inspires the confidence you expect from a regular remote-control when using it to control my laptop from a distance.

On the functionality side its not brilliantly endowed, however the functionality it does provide is robust and effective. On the underside, the rubber media-controls are satisfying to press. On the topside, the roller-ball makes a pleasing & unobtrusive clicky sound which lets you know the mouse is on and makes you want to spend every opportunity with the mouse in-hand scrolling the roller-ball. The left & right mouse buttons require solid pressure to make them click so you know it's not possible to click a mouse-button by accident.
The only real negative is that there's no middle-button, which means you have to revert back to 90's-style scrollbars in any hardcore computing, but once you get back into it that's really no big problem.
