This gadget is amazing! I'm very pleased indeed with it and a lot of people who've seen me use it have now bought one of their own.
It's simple but extraordinarily effective and goes about its job with no fuss. You just plug the dongle in (no drivers are required) and you're unchained from your laptop. Left and right buttons page back and forth though your presentation. Down blacks out / restores the display and up works the built in laser pointer. That's about all you need when doing a presentation really.
It fits neatly and discreetly in the palm of your hand. Though the design looks a bit clunky it's actually very well thought out from an ergonomic point of view. Very easy to use without looking. The wireless range is also very good indeed, as is battery life.
I've tried it with Microsoft Office 2003, Open Office 3.0 on Windows XP and Open Office 3.0 on Linux. All worked perfectly.
The only additional feature that might be nice is the vibrating time alert that the Logitech wireless presenter has, but I can live without that quite happily.

I was recommended this product by someone in the corporate presentation industry. I now have four of them so all of my team can have one.
They are so simple to use and have never let us down.
One great aspect is that they take standard AAA batteries so if they go flat replacements are simple to source unlike some products that use watch batteries.
They are rugged and can survive rough handling yet are small enough to be operated in a trouser pocket (Which I have done to great effect).
If you are looking for an economical (and who isn't?), practical and totally reliable wireless presentation aid look no further. The Kensington device is simply unbeatable!

I looked for a remote control that was straightforward and suitable for use by different presenters of varying abilities. I found that this is a really great product. It's so simple to use. Unlike some similar gadgets, the buttons are firm to the touch, so there is little chance of jumping or skipping slides. It feels good to hold - fits nicely in the hand. I haven't yet tested its operational distance, but it is certainly fine in my community centre. This Kensington Wireless Presenter is simply great!

Does exactly what it says on the tin
This is a great bit of kit - works immediately out of the package and even a techno numpty like me can suddenly look incredibly slick whilst presenting - love it!

Makes presentations appear more professional
It's like magic - at least that's how it appears to audiences especially if you change slides without obviously pointing at the screen. The pointer can also be very useful. Read more
