For ages I have been hunting for the best way to house my iPhone in my car. I have tried multiple docks and I was always reluctant to try cheap blue-tooth devices as they always sound too good to be true.

Eventually I decided to buy this after getting fed up of fiddly AUX cables and the hassle of connecting my phone to the charger. I am so glad I decided to buy this product as I would say that it is the best value for money product I have bought to date. The product works perfect after set-up and pairing it to your device. After initially pairing it to your device the blue-tooth will automatically connect to your phone when you turn it on.

Came with a good size extension AUX lead to plug into the stereo. It also has a spare USB port so you can charge your phone whilst the product is plugged in.

I believe this product also has a different model that has an included neck flex stand. One of my previous iPhone docks worked this way and it was not always 100% effective. In my opinion, the best set-up is having this product plus a separate dashboard or windscreen dock. I have this and it works well.

Only issues I had was that the battery included for the remote was dead, but this was about £2 to replace. Not an issue! Also the block that plugs into the cigarette lighter plug can be a little loose, however I braced it using a rubber holder I had from another device. I am sure a little insulation tape would do the trick.

All in all, best product for the value.

I originally bought this for use with a HTC Hero. I managed to connect with the device okay and got music playing fine. However when I'd leave the car and come back it was very hit and miss getting it to reconnect. Sometimes I'd be sat there for 15 mins trying to get music to play. Even with the device connected the sound wasn't coming through the stereo.

HOWEVER, I feel it was maybe more of a shortfall of the phone rather than the device. I have since got an iPhone 4 and decided to keep this Bluetooth device. Again connection very simple, just put in the code. With the iPhone though I've found that as long as i keep the settings and iPod app open (don't force close it) I can get in the car, hold the power on the device then after a couple of seconds, press play on the remote - music begins playing. I have yet to have the problems connecting since using the iPhone in this method. Note, if you force close settings app, you have to manually connect from the phone - I find this additional hassle. It even allows track skipping from the remote which I thought would work.

In conclusion, brilliant device if it works flawlessly with your phone. In the world of wireless technology I have yet to find a single piece of hardware or software that does work flawlessly. So, for the money this is pretty sound.

Absolutely fantastic product which adds Bluetooth music playback and hands free to your car. I love this gadget. The only reason it's not got 5 stars is that I struggled to get the steering wheel remote working (turned out to be a dud battery)and there is a bit of a glitch with the music playback. You have to make a call before it works, so I make a quick voicemail call when I first get in the car, which is a bit of a pain but the device is so useful I live with it.

Update: changed my phone and now works flawlessly. 5*

Great for listening to music bluetooth. But microphone is very quite especially if your 12v socket is down behind your gearstick and a long way away.

Great product, does exactly what it's meant to, little glitchy at times, but once it's set up runs brilliantly, mic quality is good too. Recommended buy!
