I bought this item as a gift for my boyfriend. He was absolutely made up with it. It is exactly as described and fullfills its purpose superbly. The keyboard is easy to use and very responsive with excellent battery life. 10/10 for the speed of delivery too. Would definitely recommend this product to other iPad 2 users.

I decided to look for an iPad2 keyboard case as I have struggled to use the iPad's touch screen keyboard for any meaningful typing - such as meeting notes in work. I considered a stand alone bluetooth keyboard but dismissed that on the basis that it would be a bit of a faff to juggle two pieces of equipment. The complete keyboard/case appeared to be the answer. After looking at many options I chose the Kensington as it seemed to be a good quality item with a decent keyboard. One week into using it and I am happy that I've made the right choice! The product is well built and looks and feels like a quality item. When folded up it hardly seems bigger or heavier that my previous iPad2 case! When opened up to use the keyboard it is very compact and steady. You can adjust the angle of the screen a little by lining it up with the ridges on the upper part of the keyboard. The keyboard itself is rubber which folds against the screen when closed, which is obviously an appropriate material for this purpose. Whilst all of these keyboards are compact, I have been pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use. I can rattle off notes at a pace more like a regular keyboard, rather than the snails pace of the screen keyboard. You also don't have to fiddle around finding symbols - they're on the keyboard (including volume, home button and F keys). I also found it very easy to type on whilst sitting in an auditorium this week. I sat it on my knees and was able to type notes, no problem. The set up was easy, once charged just switch it on and then look for it as a bluetooth device in "settings" to connect. I have only two observations that I would flag up that both relate to charging (1) When your iPad has bluetooth activated and you are using it in meetings then the iPad battery will run down much quicker (2) the keyboard will also need regular charging. The only thing they could have added was a magnetised cover so that the screen would automotically go into sleep mode when closed - I'm guessing that this would help to prolong the iPad's battery life? I now find myself manually putting the screen to sleep, switching off the bluetooth on the iPad, or the on/off on the keyboard during prolonged periods of inactivity. This is one of the more expensive keyboard cases but it is a good quality item - I would recommend it to anyone. All round, a very good piece of kit.

The case is well made and it is great protection for my commute on the train,
It is also a great keyboard - the feeling of the keys is a little wierd, but over time I'm sure that I'll get used to it, as they have moved the quotation key, and therefore I hit enter, and they have also moved the =/+ key to below the enter key rather than just right to the -/_ key.
I typed this review on my new keyboard, and I touchtype so when using the ' key I notice once I've done it, but it slows down my pattern, I'm not sure how long it takes to charge, but I charge it when I charge my iPad (every 2/3 days)
Final negative-ish point: as is the same on most folio-keyboad-cases there is only one shift, which is on the left hand side and I am used to it being on the right, but like I say, I'm sure that I will get used to it in time!!
Overall this is definitely a product to buy as it is durable, stylish, light & easy to use - it already had some charge out-of-the-box to play with it before you have to wait for it to charge.
