Bought from Amazon. This is a fantastic light, and much better made than any of the cheap ones you see. Also, I was very surprised by how bright it was. It uses 8 ultra-bright LEDs and the brightness is pretty comparable to a desk lamp, so extremely useful!
I'm not sure what the other person who rated this one star was talking about power-wise - it only seems to use 400mA at full brightness, which is in the USB spec. Remember that there are whole scanners, drives and all sorts that are powered just from the USB port, so a bunch of LEDs isn't really a large drain.

Having trawled through the options, I opted for this one as it looked fairly neat and simple to use. So far it's not disappointed. It can bend to the angle you want and you can fold it away to put in your laptop bag. It gives off enough light to see the keyboard - plus you can use it to keep the screen brightness up when watching a DVD.

Don't buy this item!
I have had it for a few months and every couple of weeks another bulb fails to work. There are 8 LED bulbs and I am now down to just 3 working. It produces very little light and the remaining bulbs tend to flicker occasionally.
Waste of money!

Excellent product
This is an excellent light for a lap top ,very bright.Although Amazon said this product is not being made anymore so this product was purchased from an Amazon seller.

This has got to be the best Notebook light I have used so far for what it's supposed to do. The only criticism I have is that the flexi neck is too flimsy
