Amazon Verified Purchase
I purchased this item from 'Kings of Gadgets' as they were allot cheaper than amazon, I ordered the item on the monday the 6th and it arrived on wednesday the 8th. At the time of writing this the UK is suffering snowy conditions and the fact that I live on the Isle of Man means that this is the fastest item I have received under the circumstances.
As for the product ... well it is 'kensington' so it kind of says it it all the product is excellent build quality and the battery pack gives my ipod touch 4th gen 6hrs + usual full charge of use so it is a fantastic device, I recommend it to all iphone and iPod users!

Never written a review on amazon before but considering the price Apple charge people for their gear I felt compelled to uncover this bargain. Got this for what worked out to be about 33 euro (less now). Does what is says, charges the iPhone 3G + 3Gs + iPods. Nice rubbery feel to the dock and doesn't slide around much and is very well built. Additional battery charges the iPhone rather rapidly, thought I would have to leave it plugged into it for hours but its nice and fast. Seems solid unlike many others I've used. The only gripe is the cover to shield the 30 pin connector on the battery is useless, no biggie. There is no AV out on the dock so if you want that go find another.
The dock plugs in and charges via the supplied USB cable or supplied USB AC adapter. Strangely, although the USB AC adopter says 5v it charges an iPad as well, at least as fast as Apple's 10v USB adapter. I know, I have both. Thought I was imagining it at 1st but no. So for 33 euro (less now) your getting an iPhone dock, backup battery, usb cable, and an iPad charger which alone Apple charge 30 euro for (no dock to 30-pin cable or extension lead with this though). Really cant say fairer than that. Happy.

Bought this for same price as just a replacement charger from apple. Very good quality dock, comes with a USB charger/ coms cable same as original and also a plug that has a good quality USA or uk adapter. The backup battery very useful to, I've used it several times and has given iPhone a 2/3rds battery charge. All in all I would defiantly recommend it, if my wife ever gets an iPhone I'll definately buy another one.

Works as advertised
My wife happily uses this to charge her iPhone and the spare battery. She didn't need any of the adaptors that came with the charger.

fab item base is a great charger comes with a plug so not just usb.. and the mini battery is very handy to keep in your bag, pocket etc.. and it was less than half price bargain
