I had high hopes for this DVD but like many others before this release

The name Kenny Rogers conjurs up Country and Western music, but this DVD has to be seen and heard to dispel this myth.
It opens giving us an insight into the people he worked with over the years and his progression from singing country music to jazz, blues and ballards. The songs we hear are popular and loved by us all. It is filmed at "The House of Blues" where he sings accompanied by "The Big Band" of old, in front of a very appreciative audience.
It is a magical kaleidoscope of sheer foot tapping enjoyment. An absolute must for every Kenny Rogers fan.

This is a most fantastic programme. All of Kenny's great hits are beautifully sung and I particularly enjoyed "Ruby" and "Lady" with my favourite being the duet with Dolly Parton singing "Islands in the Stream". Kenny Rogers is a superstar and the live in concert music tracks raise the roof at the House of Blues. This DVD is a must for all Kenny fans!
