Kenneth Williams - An Audience With, is very good value for a DVD that runs to around 77 minutes and offers us the definitve Kenneth Williams stand up recording. Kenneth had all the family in hysterics as he recalled to the audience his meeting of Edith Evans and also how Noel Coward caught him at a most inopportune moment! There is also the Rambling Syd Rumpo songs from Round The Horne and tales of his time working on Tony Hancock's radio shows. And of course the master of the double-entendre has plenty to say about the antics off screen on several movies, which prove to be a right Carry On!
He also has some personal stories about some of the greats of film and theatre, including Richard Burton, Orson Welles, Judy Garland and Maggie Smith.
Among the celebrities in the audience is, Matthew Kelly, Michael Parkinson, Judith Chalmers, William Roache, and many many more.
This is recommended very highly as it is amazingly good value, both the sound and picture are quite superb, and of course this is Kenneth at his very best - stop messing about!
