Ken M. Wharton

I am a former soldier and have written - to date - four books on the Northern Ireland troubles from the perspective of the British soldier on the streets and fields of the province. Largely oral, the books encompass the views of the Riflemen and Privates, the NCOs and their officers who risked death and maiming at the hands of savage mobs and the professional yet murderous IRA and INLA.

My books are pro-squaddie and will always be so.
