Excellent for Induction,

Thought about using my old steel wok for a new induction hob, but then went for what could have been an expensive unecassary purchase.
In the end, I couldn't have been more pleased with this wok. Going from gas to induction cooking methods I was unsure on how it would work out. With the non-stick surface, cleaning it is a breeze. No need to season or oil the wok, just make sure you use wooden utensils. It says it's dishwasher safe, but I haven't used it in a dishwasher as you just need a quick wash in the sink and it's done. Nothing so far has stuck. So far all my stir frys \ currys have turned out great. The additional grab handle makes it easier to hold when moving it around. I was also concerned on how the induction hob would cook with a wok, and it's been great with this wok. I haven't noticed any difference other than less oil is needed, that is a bonus too.

Excellent,
By Ken Harrington "beam15h" (London) - See all my reviews

After five plus years of a heavyweight oversized frying pan from Le Cruseut, I spent a bit more time researching its replacement and I am glad I did. This wok is lightweight, easy to use, comfortable handle and very easy to clean. It also sits well both on normal gas ringed hob as well as the specific wok ring. Highly recommended.

We have an excellent traditional wok, and bought this to replace an ageing 'non-stick' wok for more general use. We now find we use the 'Ken Hom' even for meals we would have cooked in the traditional wok. It has good heat distribution, it's easy to keep food moving so it doesn't stick and burn, and it's very easy to clean. Best wok we've ever had by miles. Not cheap, but well worth paying the extra for.
