I bought this steamer about 4 years ago and have used it a couple of times practically every week. I'm still using it now although some of this little strips of bamboo are working loose. It is a real bargain though and worth every penny for the difference in taste of the vegetables. Also perfect for steaming fish.

My wife has found the steamer to be one of the best buys for her kitchen.
The veg that she steams keeps the flavour in and does in three quarters of the time that boiling or steaming in a pan.
She would reccomend it to any Cook.

Anything that Ken Hom recomends or allows his name to be attached do is OK by me The ChineseSteamer has a great authentic look and feel and gives food a special steam favour Excellent on all Counts

Our steamer went mouldy after just 2 weeks!

Not as good as the last one
Needed to replace the one I bought 20 years ago.
Still does what I want it to do - steam the veggies without that metal taste and it cuts down on the washing up. Read more

Steam every thing and anything a healthie option
Steamed veg, or fish? steam nuts or fruit could be anything go to the shops and pick up something so you can fill your chops
