Format:Audio CD
It does not always happen, especially when music from the movies is transposed to the medium of CD,that what you hear in the movie is the same as what is presented on CD,especially regards to soundtracks composed by movie music master Mr Lalo Schiffrin. To my utter dismay,previous soundtracks by Schiffrin like "Bullitt" and "Dirty Harry" are totally different from what was originally presented in the cinema.Finally then has come a soundtrack that can be classed as being an "original" in every aspect.Kelly's Heroes does not differ at all from what you hear in the film. Every track on the CD is exactly as it appeared in my most fave movie in the universe!.I urge any fan of the film to buy this,but be warned.....be quick about it.The CD is strictly a limited pressing of 3000 units only.

One of the best soundtrack albums you can buy. As a fan of the film, i've wanted to get my hands on the OST for ages - and this release is superb. It features all the main themes and music, and even has a section on the end composed of tracks from the original vinyl release that were slightly different or in some cases, were not part of the original score, but used to make the vinyl release more poppy and commercial. The accompanying booklet is outstanding, with information on the film and each track. Oh, why can't other soundtrack releases be made to this standard ?

Catches the spirit of the film. Especially "All for the love of sunshine" by Hank Williams Jr. Top class!
