20 May 2014 Aliens, Inc Series
Book 1 of Aliens, Inc. Series. Shipwrecked on earth and desperate to make money, an alien family decides to make a living by opening Aliens, Inc., an intergalactic event-planning business master-minded by 9 year old alien boy, Kell Smith. Kell discovers that his neighbor, Bree Hendricks, turns 9-years-old next month and she wants a party with an alien theme. That should be simple as flying from star to star. But things aren't that easy: Earthling's ideas about aliens are totally wrong. Even worse, Principal Lynx is a UFO-Chaser and suspects aliens around every corner. Will the Aliens totally blow the Aliens Party? Will Principal Lynx capture Kell and his family and them over to the government? MimsHouse.com/aliens/

5.0 out of 5 stars Kell seems like your typical child 18 Aug 2014
By Denise Weaver - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Kell seems like your typical child, but he has a secret! This book is very readable. The alien slant will appeal to young boys and the storyline will also appeal to girls. In this introduction to the series (great for high second grade readers through fourth or fifth grade) the reader is introduced to Kell and his family of aliens. As they seek to find a way to make money they begin Aliens, Inc. which does parties. Students will be delighted with Kell's inability to understand all things Earth!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for reluctant, struggling readers that love Science Fiction 3 Jun 2014
By DeAnna Harris - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I teach 5th grade math/science. This series is perfect for ages 8 to 11 with a taste for Science Fiction and childhood love. I read aloud the first book in this series and my students were begging for more. Each chapter ends with a sentence or two about how the main character feels about his "girl next door". 5th graders love that! This series is written for a lower grade level, but my struggling and reluctant readers were the first to ask for book #2 (Kell and the Horse Apple Parade). As for the students that are reading on grade level or above, I introduced them to another book by this author (Saucy and Bubba) and they were hooked after the first chapter.
