Berkshire based author Keith Sheppard writes children's fiction and comic verse. A lifelong Lewis Carroll fan, Sheppard's first published novel was "Wonderland Revisited and the Games Alice Played There" (2009), a sequel to Carroll's Alice books. His latest book, "Welcome to the Crazyverse" (2012), is a collection of comic verse making fun of history.
Initially not a professional writer, Sheppard's writing career took off when he retired from the day job to devote more time to the writing that had always been his passion.
When not actually writing, Sheppard runs literacy courses and comic verse workshops in local schools and libraries. He has also, perhaps ill advisedly, taken up ice figure skating in his dotage!
