When I was thirteen, my English teacher - who was fed up with reading my space stories - told me I'd never make it as a science fiction writer. Undeterred, I went on to pen several sci-fi novels and three comedy stage plays, in and around raising a family. But it wasn't until I switched genres that my stories really took off. Now my self-published crime thrillers have sold more than 160,000 copies on Amazon alone and notched up over a third of a million downloads worldwide. I'm genuinely grateful for my break and, despite my head still being full of those space stories, I try my best to keep my feet planted firmly on the ground.

Keith spent too much of his childhood reading science fiction books, mostly by flashlight and tented under the bed covers, dreaming of becoming a full-time novelist.
His first crime thriller KILLING HOPE launched on Amazon in November 2011 and within two months reached high in the Kindle Top 100 on both sides of the Atlantic, grabbing the #1 slots in Police Procedurals and Hard-Boiled. Spurred on by this success, Keith wrote two sequels, attracting more than 1000 five-star reviews on what was to become his #1 best-selling Gabe Quinn Thrillers series.
KILLING HOPE was chosen by the Editors at Amazon UK to feature in their Best 150 Picks of 2013, after it reached #4 in the UK Chart and stayed in the Top 10 for 3 weeks. Each book in the Series has achieved the #1 position in its Kindle categories, internationally, on multiple occasions.
In February 2014, Keith guest-starred on the Amazon booth at the London Author Fair, working with the Kindle Team, where he chaired group seminars for indie authors interested in Amazon Publishing, keen to help them with their own writing careers.
In January 2015, Keith was signed to Thomas & Mercer, an Amazon Publishing imprint, for his first standalone thriller 'No Coming Back' released October 2015. His teacher said he'd never make it as a science fiction writer - she was only partially right.
In April 2015, Keith attended the London Book Fair as Amazon's 3-day guest, taking part in daily author panels held in the AuthorHQ. He worked the KDP|CreateSpace|ACX stand, where he spoke to other independent authors about his experiences of using Amazon's various platforms, sharing publishing tips and offering insider insights to help them get a foothold in the industry.
Keith's writing style, suspenseful storytelling and engaging characters have been likened by Kindle readers to Dennis Lehane, Raymond Chandler and Michael Connelly. His best-selling books sell in 10 countries and his success story has been featured on the Amazon homepage and in the Kindle Newsletter.
Keith doesn't write run-of-the-mill mysteries. He doesn't conform to formulaic storytelling. He shies away from stereotypical characters and doesn't pad his stories with unnecessary waffle. What he delivers are edge-of-the-seat thrillers crammed so full of breathtaking twists and turns you'll need a neck brace and a vacation after reading them. His characters are emotive and his plots are addictive. And his killer endings are to die for. So don't just sit there ... Buy this Series!
