Book Description

1 Jun 2005
The newest rising star of the celebrity world, Jodie Marsh found fame as part of the TV series Essex Wives and has established herself as a tabloid favourite. From her unhappy school days and her teenaged nose job to her current success, this is her uncensored story. It includes her very public feud with archrival Jordan and her legendary partying antics in her outrageous outfits - if, that is, a couple of belts can be said to count as clothes at all. She recounts her days as a stripper and Page 3 model and dishes the sexy truth on her passionate affairs with a string of famous boyfriends - some never before publicly named! But Jodie has had her share of tragedy and in her frank story she talks for the first time about the devastating effect that the murder of one of her closest friends had on her. Forthright, sassy, determined and sexy, this is the story of Britain's brightest star.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pure Trash 25 Oct 2008
Format:Paperback
I read this book to see if I had misjudged Miss Marsh but clearly I didn't and to see if I understood why she did the things she did. I found the book very explicit and it just basically was all about her shagging different d list celebrities. Its kind of embarrassing she had it all and people who are worse off than her manage to survive with dignity which is clearly something she didn't have. I am not sure what men see in her other than a trashy, no self respect woman who clearly does nothing but get her body out on any occasion. What really amazes me is the vile language in the book and her parents probably read it. She is nothing compared to Jordan, at least Jordan came from nothing and turned her life around, Jody on the other had it all and just became trashier than ever just for attention. Its an embarrassment.

By Ms. E. Blankson VINE™ VOICE
Format:Paperback
Its a very simple autobiography written very simply which makes it easy to read. She goes through stages of her life in logical order although they all seem to be linked through her growing sexual experiences rather than anything concrete like her growing as a person

i also found that through out the book moments which should come across funny, sad or any other emotion or thing which she is trying to convey, comes across instead quite self centred.

All in all although i didnt really like the book i cant deny that it was vaguely interesting and easy to read

1.0 out of 5 stars I gave it 1 star because you can't award a blank 20 Sep 2007
Format:Paperback
Jodie Marsh is one of those people who remind me of the old saying 'If you have to say you are a lady, you aren't one'. She keeps telling us she is all sorts of things, like intelligent, which are evident if they are the case.

She has one take on her life, but it seems to me she was an obnoxious child, greatly in need of Supernanny, whose parents could not or would not control her, and who extended her unpleasantness to school which is why she had a hard time. She is endlessly opinionated, completely without serious thought, vulgar, trivial, and irresponsible. However, she is so extreme I wouldn't be surprised if she proved to be bi-polar.
