I very highly recommend this book to all Amazon buyers who have a body and wish to look after it. But................

It is exactly and precisely the same book as 'Body In Action' by the same author. I think this should be made clear on the cover of the book (and not just in small print inside.)

I bought it thinking it was a ''new'' title (a totally new book) written by the author of 'Body in Action'.......whereas it is in fact the old book with a new title.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good investment 11 Jun 2009
Format:Paperback
I am using this book every day. The exercises really work and I find the detailed background info useful. The only reason I did not give this book five stars was that some of the exercise instructions are hard to understand - once you work out what they mean they are great.

2.0 out of 5 stars Word of caution 23 May 2011
By Marion
Format:Paperback
Whilst this book obviously helps many joint pain sufferers, I feel that a word of caution needs to more prominently feature in the book. For example, persisting with the 'knee walking' exercise, through the pain as recommended, resulted in knee bursitis, which has taken three months to clear. The hip exercises have also resulted in more pain and problems than when I began the programme. Horses for courses but this book obviously wasn't right for me.
Incidentally, am finding the Alexander Technique a great help.
