I personally really enjoyed this book. The way it begins is to discuss why you are trying to work out...goals, why bodyweight training is the most effective way to work out, and workout styles. It encourages you to make a plan specifically for you. The book then shows examples of workout plans so that the reader can see how this is done. Very helpful information! Then the book goes right into showing bodyweight exercises! A typical example shows not only the exercise in pictures, but step by step instruction on how to properly do the exercise. I played sports in high school and college. Some of these exercises I recognized right away, some I did not. Some, I have been doing...but not properly, so this book gave me great instruction on how to correctly do these exercises. In the back is an index to help you find a specific exercise quickly. I personally have added some of these into my day to day workout plan.
