I am terrible when I make a drink for leaving it too long, by which time it has gone cold. Also I wanted something that I could carry easily room to room without spilling as I am wheelchair dependent. This is just great and everyone who sees it wants one. I can now fill it with really hot tea, put the lid on and carry it around without the risk of burning my skin as the walls of the mug do not get hot but the contents are kept hotter for longer than a normal cup/mug. Probably about 20 minutes and it will still be drinkable. What is also worth noting is that it is dishwasher proof, unlike a lot of other similar vessels that you can only rinse the insides and are not fully immersible as water gets into the walls. Great mug and great value for money. Highly recommended

I did not buy this on Amazon but received it as a present. I am just rating the product. I was bought this as I am always moaning about the taste given to my coffee by my plastic travel mug. It is really worth switching to a ceramic mug as this does not give any taste allowing you to appreciate the coffee. The ceramic mug is built to a good, solid standard and contains the heat well. Since the ceramic is thick you can hold a hot drink comfortably. The silicone lid has a cut out and mimics the usual take away coffee cups and is also built to a good quality. It is thick and fits the ceramic mug well. The only gripe I have is the mug could be larger but apart from this minor point it is a great product and looks cool.
