Works like a dream 9 Sep 2010

I was looking to be able to send faxes via our home laptop and this little beauty helped me out! Easy peasy to install. Prev review didn't rate the length of the telephone cable sent with it but as my internet router is right next to my laptop docking station I just unplugged the cable to the back of my router and plugged it into the modem socket, happy days! :D

Needed USB modem to access dial up to upload files to website. Also needed modem to send and receive occasional faxes. Did loads of research as there are a number of different specs many of which do not work with Windows 7. This one does. It does everything I wanted it to do, doesn't drop contact and is hassle free.

An excellent bit of kit. I needed something as a back-up in case of failure of my broadband as my machine did not have a modem. Plug and Play, just as it should be, simple, worked first time. Nothing else needs to be said!

Nice. Works well

Extraordinary. I implemented the very first international 9.6kbps synchronous private wire datalink, and it look most of a rack of kit. Now it costs almost nothing and works well.
