Kaws 14 Feb 2012
By Paulie
Format:Hardcover
Really cool book, great illustrations,
The colour reproduction is also ok, although it could have been a bit richer. Well worth having though.

Great book, Interesting artist 20 Dec 2010
By Austin Haynes - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
Kaws is part of the street art scene and one of the more "finished" artists in this movement. His work is colorful and is a great bridge between street art and gallery art. The imagery taken from popular culture is very recognizable but also has been changed by the artist in a way that shows the viewer he has made it his own. I am a high school art teacher and I am always looking for new "safe" artists to expose my advanced student to in order to get them excited about art. This book will serve me well and will inspire students for years to come.

Anyone interested in street art, this would go great with any collection to your library or coffee table. Highly recommend for a gift as I bought this for as a present, great photos and information on Kaws and the hard cover is very styley, looking at buying another copy for myself.
