4.0 out of 5 stars Excellant and not patronising 27 Feb 2004
By A Customer
Format:DVD
I've found this DVD to be great at learning how to pace myself - had a tendency to over do the excercise at first - this showed my how to slow down, monitor myself and still maintain fitness. I'd recommend it. Easy to follow, alternative moves suggested. When I've had the baby I'll let you know how good the postnatal section is!

5.0 out of 5 stars Kathy Smith PRegnancy workout 2 Dec 2003
By A Customer
Format:VHS Tape
This video is the best one I have used during my pregnancy it was low impact in three short sections with toning and relaxation at the end. It is great for beginners and those who are a bit more advanced,as well it shows modifcations for abdominals and does heart rate checks to moitor your work out rate. I recommend this video to all pregnant women as it will help maintain an even weight gain and it helped all my complications as well my labour.

5.0 out of 5 stars It definately works! 27 Jun 2003
Format:VHS Tape
I would highly recommend this video if you are trying to lose weight and tone up around your thighs and bum. I have had this video for about 10 years and I get it out to use several times each year to get rid of unwanted fat that has crept back while I have relaxed the diet (which I find goes straight to my thighs and bum). I just have to do the video three times a week for about 2 months and it works a treat (even from day one) The moves are easy but intense, it is motivating but not annoyingly cheesy. What I think is so good about it is it combines a cardiovascular workout (you will be sweating) with an intense toning routine (your muscles will be shaking)all in a one hour set. I could not live without this video, it gives me an excuse to blow the diet sometimes as I know I can rely on it to get me back into shape.

4.0 out of 5 stars Effective workouts, but.... 20 July 2001
By A Customer
Format:VHS Tape
Kathy Smith's 2 on 1 Workout provides two very effective, traditional aerobic-workouts. I am a huge fan of Kathy for her various professionally made excercise workouts and her pleasant personality. These workouts aren't disappointing in that sense either. The problem with this 2 on 1 video package is that the videos were originally released in 1984 and 1985, not in 1994 as the video info lets you believe. This means that the movements may be a little old-fashioned and the 80's disco music is terribly annoying, and for me it's too much to handle! If you don't mind the music and the 80's settings, this package is a good buy. I, however, will concentrate on Kathy's later releases that are packed with more recent scientific information on fitness and are more pleasant for the eyes and ears.
