Product Description

Product Description

A portrait of Kate Bush based on interviews with her friends, family and with Kate herself. This is a work which looks at her public and private life from her childhood through to her signing by EMI at the age of 16, her number one hit of "Wuthering Heights" and on to her latest album of autumn 1988. Looking at the development of her career, her art and personality and her success in both music and lyric, and her theatrical and professional mime and dance, her videos and live performances, Kerry Juby has tried to take an authoritative and analytical look at the life of this unusual performer.

Format:Hardcover
This "authoritative" biography cites BFPO as being British Forces Post Office. This sort of scholarly writing makes it really difficult to take seriously any account of the work of such an intelligent and creative person and artist as Kate clearly is. She needs a really good analyst, biographer and story-teller (reflecting her own skills and background) to tell her tale. While I am glad to have any account of her, this is not one that any could treasure or value.
