I ordered this item and it arrived today. "At last!" I thought, freedom from the Autumn tyranny of spiders, when they decamp from the garden and move, en masse, into my house. Hurrah for the designers of this wonderful device, may the Heavens rain praise and reward on you for the rest of your days...

HOWEVER...

Who in the name of Arachnophobia designed your packaging? Think about your target market folks, we are Arachnophobes, we hate spiders, really, REALLY hate them...so why, WHY would you put pictures of ferocious looking 8-legged horrors on your packaging?! I had to open the box with my eyes closed. That monstrosity pictured on the front of the box gave me the shudders. I have buried the box at the bottom of my bin and couldn't even touch it with a bare hand as I did so!

10/10 for the arachnid equivalent of a Jedi Light Saber.
0/10 and a clip round the ear to the packaging designer for being a total numpty!

Certainly does the job of vacuuming up any little beasts from a safe distance. However, I find it quite tricky to get them out of it without a fear of it landing on me! Your only option is to shake it and I'm a bit concerned it could come back on me. It'd be good if the vacuum could work the other way and 'blow' the beastie out when it's safe.

very good, extra reach saves balancing on a chair etc & turbo end comes in handy albeit not for some of the bloody big spiders that cross our threshold!

Use it all the time to catch and release the pesky creatures!!
Here is latest pic especially with the spiders around at the moment. My DDs scream but now jus shout for the spider vac which is much easier than getting the vacuum!!

Sent this to my son whos at university he is scared of spiders so I thought it would solve his problem he likes it but so far has only used it on daddy longlegs but it has worked and he has safely put them outside with it, so it was worth getting it for him.

Works brilliantly and , what is more, this purchase replaces a near identical item from lakeland which served for over 10 years. Highly recommended!

Good for flies, but not so good for spiders! I think our spiders must have Velcro on their feet, as they could not be sucked up! Battery ran low very quickly too!

Worked perfectly although the suction seems a little soft I'm assured by a friend that it will "Get that Critter". Packed well and arrived in specified time period. Easy to use and good fun for kiddies who can go on a "safari".
