Bought this to allow me to leave most equipment at home and travel light and also have something that could be carried onto an airplane etc. With camera fitted with zoom lense and battery pack, a seperate 100mm macro lens and one 580 flash the 3N1-22 is a bit tight, and the pc has to be squeezed in. That said the 3N1 is very comfortable and is suitable for travelling, straps can be inserted into the bag so it has no straps etc showing. One thing to note is the top of the bag, it has a zipped compartment onto which is a handle that you can pick the bag up with, if you don't zip it in a certain way the weight of the bag can open the flap to the compartment, which allows the contents to spill, in my case, filters and rings. The bag is well made - not sure I like the water proof cover, it is provided in a seperate pack and has to be remove from the 3N1 removed then from a simple case, and then slipped over the 3N1. My other bag has a built in cover on its base - just pull the cover out and strecth over the bag - much more pratical when the sky opens, the packed cover in its little bag does act in my bag as an extra level of protection for the end of the lens on my camera. It would be a good idea to mark one of two flaps used to access the camera, my 3N1 is not always used in a sling mode - and occasionally when I've walked up a mountain in 30 degree heat you forget which flap to open, sometimes its the wrong one, red beading or something on one flap would aid. Ive now put a badge on mine on the side I access the camera compartment. To summarize - a well made bag with good carrying options - that fits the bill for travelling light, the option of the tripod carrier is great and comfortable to use - just wish I went for the bigger 3N1-33
