i give these shoes 5 star rating as they deserve it with all design, materials, quality and comfort. the only thing is i regreating- i has to order size 6 even though i have 7. as they are really a very large 7. i could easily fit into 6 judging by them. Wide, soft, comfy lining. all is just perfect. to compensate the size i will be putting a thick 'fluffy' socks or thermal socks. other than that - as always with the british quality- it is second to NONE!!!!

This is the best walking shoe I have every had. I bought one pair at a shop and paid a lot more for them. They are so comfortable I bought two more pairs because the Amazon price was so good. Hopefully I will be able to walk the dog in comfort for a long time now. Just one downside, I found that the heels started to wear down after about 4 months of daily wear and became slippery in wet conditions after 6 months. Sadly I had to ditch them and buy another pair at the great Amazon price.

These shoes initially felt fine but just a short walk outside revealed a surprising lack of instep support and were very loose round the ankle. They look good and appear very well made and have plenty of 'wriggle room' for my fairly broad feet. I can use them with orthotic insoles but no matter how well I lace them it is not possible to get them snug enough round the ankle to stop the slipping.
