Wii-owning karaoke fans have had to be patient. Karaoke, seemingly the ideal match for the Wii, has taken a very very long time to come to the Wii. Yes, there have been a few other releases (Disney and Boogie Superstar), but none to match the mighty Singstar franchise (on PS2 and PS3). With Karaoke Revolution (after countless unexplained delays and a constantly put back release date), it feels that time has finally come. Well-designed (FAR better than for example We Sing), great track list, and many customisable options (venues and characters can be either edited or created from scratch), KR has finally got it right. The addition of downloadable content (only available on PS3 and Xbox) would truly take it to another level (and if Rock Band and Guitar Hero can do it on the Wii, it's hard to see why Karaoke Revolution can't), but as it is, the Wii seems to have found its very own Singstar, and for that it should be applauded.
