KangaROOS were invented back in the day when phone booths were on every corner and a call cost a single coin. That was 1979--a great year for those who remember it. Architect and designer Robert Gamm was a runner, and he wanted a place to stash his house key and his change when he went for a run. Ahhh, necessity: the mother of invention. He created sneakers with a pocket, called them KangaROOS and patented an energy return technology that was researched and tested by NASA. Sports stars Walter Payton, Ozzie Smith, and Clyde Drexler sported ROOS and helped spread the word. Fast-forward to today: KangaROOS are better than ever. I ordered these in a size 6 my normal size and i must say i have wide feet and they are really comfy. They are a little big in the length though, a half size might have been better but they dont do them. I'll just get some heel grips as they are way too nice to send back.

I bought these shoes for work as I needed a pair with a decent grip on the sole and that were comfy enough to wear all day. These shoes tick all the boxes for me. After reading the previous reviews on the length of the shoe etc I opted to buy the size 3 (I am between a 3-4 normally) and the 3 are a great fit. A size 4 would have been too big. The shoes are very comfortable to wear all day and they have not caused any rubbing or blistering at all. Great value shoes all round.

Lovely looking shoes, they give you a little height if you are short.
They are made big and I took notice of other reviews so got a size smaller. Very comfortable.

Size comes up to big
I got a size 8 as this is the size I buy my shoes in I found that they were to big and keep falling off when I walk .

Too big
Size too big for a size 3. It hurts on the right foot when I walk-I do not wear them anymore after a 3 times used.

lovely but plenty of room
very nice shoes, good quality and the contrasting pink trim gives them an edge. I found them a big on the roomy size - normally a 7 is a good fit for me, these are a bit loose.
