Two friends are forced to travel to australia to deliver a package containing $50,000 dollars. On the way they hit a kangaroo with their car, believing it to be dead they dress it up in a jacket and sunglasses to take it's picture. The kangaroo however is not dead and runs into the bush with the jacket containing the money. The two friends have to track it down in order to recover the money with hilarious consequences.
This is a really funny film for both kids and adults - it had my 5 year old in stiches all the way through. Definately worth buying for the kids for Christmas!

I felt I had to write in defence of this film as my two daughters (9 and 13) absolutely loved it. It is hard enough these days to find something that is entertaining without being crude, violent or spoilt by bad language. The kangaroo was a big hit and the DVD version contains lots of bonus items - animal audtions, dance sequences etc - that have been much played. OK, it is not very 'high-brow' but it is great family entertainment.

I saw this at the movies and I fell out of my chair laughing. The stepson of a New York mafia boss incurs his wrath when his best friend gets him involved in one of his no-brainer schemes. Friends through a quirk of fate when Lewis (Anthony Anderson ) saves Charlies (Jerry O'Connell) life. The funny stuff occurs when they are told to go to Australia to deliver an unknown package to a gentleman in the outback. On the way they open the package and one situation leads to another and lets say the money in Lewis’s jacket winds up on the infamous Jackie Legs ( “Kangaroo Jack”).
This has been slammed in the States but if you want a family comedy then this is it.
A must for anyone who likes zany situation comedies!!!

Absolutely awful; contrived and utterly predictable.

Silly story about two idiots being sent to Australia with a wad of money, the money to be passed on to some mobster or other. Obviously things go wrong - and the money ends up on a kangaroo. Yes, you read that correctly - a kangaroo, which of course does what kangaroos do - it hops across the outback pursued by the two idiots and, well would you believe it, the one girl who was on the same plane from the USA that they were on. Now who would have thought. eh!

This film actually carries a PG rating - they're right, it is Pure Garbage.

This was loaned to me one wet afternoon - thank goodness I didn't buy it; I wouldn't insult a ten-year old with this rubbish.
