I bought my earphones in February, and have been using them ever since - I have just had to throw them away now in December because I have managed to break the wire to one ear.

They have been incredibly robust (I go through earphones at a terrible rate because I carry my ipod around with me and use it all the time - when travelling, in the gym, etc, etc - so I am forever winding the headphones round the ipod, getting them tangled up, unwinding them again, etc, which does tend to wear them out quickly!), and these have lasted much longer than I usually expect.

Moreover the sound quality is wonderful with plenty of bass (the Creative earhones I have just started using today sound really tinny by comparison), and they do seem to block external sound quite well (meaning that I don't have to have the volume as loud as I do with other cheap earphones). They also fit snugly and securely in the ear, and I like having the asymmetrical leads which fit behind the head rather than in front.

My only beef (and it is a small one) is that they are not very comfortable when lying down (yes, I listen to my ipod in bed too!) but stick into the ear I am lying on.

Off to order another pair now!

Excellent sound reproduction. Can't see what the problem is with the bass does not sound to much to me. For the price I would say they are a very good choice.

Have been using a set of these since 2009 (2014 now) so 5 years use is pretty awesome for less than a fiver. My old set just gave up on one earphone now (though weirdly the left bud works if I have the right bud in my ear), so ordering 2 more sets in case they ever decide to discontinue.
Excellent earbuds as they hold in my ears very well (I usually have a problem with the solid buds slipping/falling out when walking), the soft rubber also mutes external noise and prevents my music leaking out to the train/bus/etc. Can't really wear them lying down on my side, as they stick out a bit but okay on my back, and they're quite obvious so handy in an office so people can see whether you're going to hear what they're saying or not.
The sound quality is very good; Yes it's not B&O clarity or whatever, but they're very capable (I listen to everything from classical to rap, nine inch nails to johann johannsson, with audiobooks sometimes and always hear a broad range. They withstand knocks well and apart from some slippage on the little rubber bit where the cable meets the earbud, I've not had a problem with them. The wire also tangles less than some of previous sets, it feels a little more grippy/rubbery than most so probably isn't chaos-theorying much in my pocket. Buy these before you try any others, even if they're not for you, at a couple of quid they're worth having around for when your more expensive ones break/vanish.

Don't be put off by the other reviews saying the bass is a little heavy. Personally I'm over the moon to have a pair of earphones that don't crackle and die when any remotely heavy bass comes on.
Superb product, would highly recommend

You get what you pay for really, in my opinion they didn't really live up to my expectations, they didn't really last long even though I took good care of them. But if you want a cheaper pair of headphones, go for it!

for the price brilliant pair of headphones, I've brought more expensive headphones and the quality doesn't match these.
I'm very happy you won't get a better deal then this
These are the best headphones I've brought off Amazon.
it's like they put official iPod headphones that came with ipod in package which is fine by me.

I took a gamble on these, similar to a few people who wrote reviews, I have to say these headphones are incredible, genuine innovation for well... cheap. The sound quality is very clear and sharp, some adjusting does need to be performed on the bass levels (any good MP3 player will have EQ adjustments for bass) so users can set their own preference. The in-ear system is truly excellent, providing a snug fit, perfect for running (the earphone cable is also designed for running) and exercise in general. Sound isolation is effective in a similar manner to the KOSS sparkplug headphones although without the ear wax build up, they are also very comfortable. Although some users report faults, I have not experienced this, I think for the price, the performance is worth five stars.

These earphones are the best I have ever owned, and I've bought 2. The first ones broke after a few months, but they are so good, I bought another. These have lasted exactly 2 months, and the right ear peice has lost sound. this is due to their dodgy headphone splitter, which, when poked, will make the headphone work again. I am a fool because, yet again, I am considering buying a new pair. You can save a Tonne of money if you google 'Kanon EC9'... Just saying... I think this seller has had enough of my money.
