Im thinking about buying this game at the end of the month as theres nothing else out at the moment thats worth buying. I brought The Darkness and finished it in 6 days scoring 820 gamer points. Totally gutted as I was hoping it may last a bit longer. Anyone got any views on K & T ???

well, from what i gather this game is gonna be pretty good - judging on online previews from demos and videos i've seen, however this is the only website i've found slating a july 30th release everyone else is varying between september and november. Maybe get bioshock in early august, now that game is gonna be amazing!

im in exactly the same situation as u, the darkness is a good game but far to easy and short, i just hope Kane and Lynch is out on July 30th cos all other sites say september lets hope amazon is right, or i will be waiting for bioshock in august!

I hope so too. There is nothing around at all for ages, according to amazon its kane and lynch 30th july, bioshock 24th august, halo 3 26th september, GTA4 19th october. At the moment im playing worms on arcade as I have no other games apart from halo 2. Sold GOW for £36 and Darkness for £30 on ebay. Comtemplating FN3 just for the points!

Don't forget Mass Effect on October 5th!

I think, unfortunately, that the September release date is the right one, I asked in Game yesterday funnily enough and they don't have a release date for it at all which would be a bit odd if it's coming out on Monday. Plus, Monday is a weird day for a game to come out, it's usually Fridays.

your compeletly right, game publishers usually release the date a couple of months before release, in order to build up hype and pre-order sales for the game. Witht the way things looked at this years E3, i would guess a November/ December release date, the only thing that has been said about the release is that it will definitely be THIS side of christmas, so fingers crossed guys!
