It worked perfectly out the box, I just plugged in all the wires and BAM perfect quality on my 32" Toshiba tv. Excellent value for money I bought this so my dad could watch the cricket game on the old tv because of his eyesight, I am pleased. It comes with the VGA cable, S-video cable, usb 5V power cable and a composite cable. It even has options to adjust the picture quality and some other options in the menu screen.

I bought this after trying one of the simple converter cables that sell on Amazon for about £4. From what I've learned by now those cables can't possibly work, as the outputs of VGA are not what composite or S-Video takes in.
This box however, does a proper conversion and works alright as such.
Despite coming from Germany I received this after just 5 days from dispatch.
The instructions were in English, so no problem with that part either.
Upon trying it with my PCs and my ancient Sony 29" CRT TV, I found that using S-Video worked as such. However depending on activity of the PC it often had "stutters", were the screen went briefly blank and then continued. (hence 4 stars)
Using the composite output worked fine though. Thankfully the screen quality is not significantly worse with that.
Be warned though that reading anything at a resolution of 800x600 is challenging, but as noted this could be down to the age of my TV.
The box allows for size and position adjustments, which I've found useful.
So altogether defintely worth the £15 I paid, especially given that most others want £30 or more for similar/identical looking boxes.

I have bought several other products to do the same job as this item & have been let down with them all. To be honest i wasn't expecting too much from this item as it is fairly inexpensive. So i bought it & it arrived on time & well packaged, turned on my laptop connected the unit through the VGA port on my laptop & connected to my t.v through the RCA output, powered the unit with the USB power lead supplied & hey presto it worked. i set my prefrencies on my laptop to clone as that is what i needed & the screen was too big for the t.v pressed the zoom button on the unit & it resized the picture to fit the t.v screen perfectly.
What more can i say. It is well priced, well packaged, comes with a full set of cables & easy to use opperating instructions.
I have now bought five of these units as i have four laptops in my home & a spare won't go wrong.
