Kameo is a magical, epic adventure full of magnificent exploration and intense combat. The future of the world depends on Kameo, who must capture, grow and unleash a wide assortment of incredible monsters to combat ever-present evil, and rescue her three Elemental Ancestors from the Dark Troll King who threatens the planet and its wildlife.
Kameo has the unique ability to morph in real time into a wide variety of incredible monsters, each with its own strengths and fighting style. To fight the hordes of evil, players will strategically employ 18 elemental monsters from each of the Six Elements of Power: Plant, Water, Rock, Ice, Wind and Fire. They can choose a plant that boxes for up-close combat, a rock monster to launch a silo of rocks, or a wind monster that specialises in ground-to-air attacks. Fast-paced action, epic-style battles and massive boss encounters will require players to think and act quickly using their boundless monster repertoire.
Players of Kameo: Elements of Power explore a vast and magical world filled with lush environments, thriving wildlife, wondrous creatures, clever puzzles and big challenges. Gorgeous 3-D environments with sprawling hills, fertile valleys and daunting lairs cover 20 fantasy-style locations. Players can enter the dangerous Troll Castle and discover more than 30 areas to explore. As they journey through the expansive land, players will ultimately take part in three amazing boss encounters.

Rare are back to their best,

Rare have had a busy time with Kameo, it was originally meant for the Gamecube and N64, and was supposed to have Fox Mcloud, instead Starfox adventures was made. This thankfully is a much better RPG.You play the game as Kameo, an Elf who is in possesion of Transformation magic, which allows the user to transform into several different elemental warriors. Your mission is to find all of the many elemental warriors and use them to free your family from the Troll King "Thorn" and your traitorus sister "Kalus". What follows is a good 15+ hours journey through the world, there is so much to do, you will have to play through it more then once to see it all. The graphics are excellent, the trolls could have looked a little bit more intimidating, but other then that, you can't complain, their is one area in the throne room, where the game truley does use the most out of the consoles power. The controls are simple enough, with your attack buttons being on the sholuder buttons, while the A-D butons control the character you want to play as. The game is filled with puzzles, and while they are not too chalenging, they are very clever in the solution. The game also has a scoring system, where in each temple, when you hit a certain score (from defeating enemies effectivley) you will unlock features like cheats and alternate costumes, it is enough to keep you busy for a very long time. The elemental warriors are all very imaginative ranging from a plant who boxes, to an ant with a volcanic cannon on his back, to a yeti, and they are all needed to go through the game. Some people have complained that the game looks kiddy, that is a fools remark, the game is brilliant for all ages and i wouldreccomend it.

New to gaming, & having purchased Kameo with my new Xbox 360 I am still enjoying the thrills and graphics Kameo. I have purchased additional games, but still return to Kameo. Plenty of challanges, not so hard that you will give up. A pleasant change to all the blood & gore, racing or sport. If you choose Kameo you will not be disappointed, take my word for it .... enjoy

I didnt get kameo i got pdz or pgr3 or call of duty 2 i hear you cry well you lot missed out kameo in many ways is old school adventure gaming at its best dressed up in next gen visuals.Lets start this review with the plot (family in danger big troll king to kill)and no matter what anyone says it is very kiddie but thats no bad thing just because a game hasnt got gang lords gunning everyone in sight down aint gonna make it less enjoyable no no no view this as a fairy tale that everyone can enjoy playing because thats what it is. gameplay is a real mix cross zelda majoras mask and ocarina of time(the day night cycle horse riding and shape shifting)add a dash of fable ( the first area after thorns castle really reminds you of the villages in fable it has that fantasy charm to it)and you get the idea its easy to play and great fun smacking trolls around with a big boxing venus flytrap or you can use the massive ice yeti to impale them on his back then lobb them through windows into the sky or at other monster i could mention all the elementals attacks but it would take to long so onto the visuals. Breathtaking it shines like a new penny everything in this game dazzles fuzzy creatures ugly trolls moonlit nights its just beutifull rare has done a great job in pushing early power from the 360. So should i buy this cutesy fairytale of a game you ask yes you should it offers next gen visuals and great playability so just take a break from murdering nazis racing ferraris and shooting strange laminated people and enjoy this wonderfully crafted title.
