My wife suggested we got these as she felt "another" electrical item was totally unnecessary at home when this little gem would do the job. She was dead right, shreds paper OK especially over any address or sensitive area on any documents. We use them mainly to shred bills, statements, and any financial documents, tried cutting a credit card but the scissors didn't handle it well unless you try small edges at a time. Not bad to handle, but don't try to shred too much paper at once, or anything folded more than once and you'll get excellent results.
If you need to shred, but on a small scale, these scissors will fill that need admirably....... remember, not too much at once, and don't fold the paper more than once.

I was quite speculative about the quality of this product, as its cheaper compared to others. But, it just does what it says on the tin. The product has been great to use. I do have to wait and see how long the sharpness of the scissors last though. At the moment, absolutely no regrets of the purchase

This item was half price during a recent Amazon Sale. I was going to grab a similar item from a well known pound shop from the Hight Street but decided that the quality of this item was better.
Im glad i waited for this one.
Its ideal for quickly shredding up reciepts/delivery notes that have personal information on where you would not want to fire up the shredder for.
The scissors are sharp and well constructed. I didnt think i would use them much but i find them quick and easy to use especially at night when i dotn want the shredder making so much noise!
The only thing i didnt like (which is probably my fault) is that some reciepts have sticky labels on them and sometimes a few bits get left on the blades which i could not clear out so easily.
You can normally cut about 4-5 reciepts at the same time on these, anything over that is getting too much for the amount of force you need to use on the scissors.
I wouldnt hesitate to buy another!

Occasionally used. Mainly for herb preparation. Sharp blades do the job. Blade gaps tend to clog a little but are easily cleaned with an old toothbrush.

Mobile shredder!!
Love this. It shreds all my receipts, envelopes and bits I need to shred. Much cheaper and man-portable than an electric shredder.
