The book that introduced the west to Kaizen. This is a MUST read for managers who want to implement kaizen tools and improve overall quality in their place of work. More in depth that his second book "Gemba Kaizen" which I recommend as an introductory text before moving on to this.

Book for those who really want to learn about other types of Marketing techniques. It compares the Japanese management to the American management systems. Very descriptive and easy to follow. A must read for managers

Highly recommended. It is a classic of continual improvement literature and worthwhile reading. It gets one less star because the author's later book Gemba Kaizen takes his thinking further forward.
