Product Description
These generously sized sheepskins measure between 80cm and 90cm. They have been cleaned and sterilised to be suitable for infant use. Machine-washable on a wool cycle at 30°C. It is recommended that you use our wool shampoo to wash your sheepskin. Our machine-washable natural and coloured sheepskins are available shorn to a depth of 3cm.

Just over 20 years ago, I bought and used sheepskins for my own baby daughters. Three months ago, my eldest daughter gave me my first grandchild! I wanted a sheepskin for the baby!! After extensive research, I bought this one from a reliable Amazon seller and it has become a vital item for both parents and baby!! The sheepskin is comfortable, hygenic, and seems to lessen 'flat-head' in newborns. My grandchild Lily sleeps anywhere because the sheepskin 'goes too'! My daughter and husband can still go round to friend's houses for dinner et cetera because they take the sheepskin, lay it on a safe place on the floor and Lily sleeps to her heart's content! Weekends away are also possible because the sheepskin can be transferred into hotel cots without discomfort or unfamiliarity causing problems.
If you've never used a sheepskin for your babies before - I can highly recommend this purchase!

I got this for my baby, but when it arrived it stank very strongly of leather (like the ones you get in Halfords to dry your car). Obviously it IS leather, but some of my friends who have also purchased other "baby lamb skins" have zero odour.
If you can deal with the smell, this is a nice skin, but I didn't want my nursery to smell like a butchers so sent it back.

i decided for this particular lambskin rug, because of the good price and the name of the brand 'kaiser'. after recieving the product i must say i'm really happy with my purchase. the rug is nice and big, very soft and as soon as you sit or lay on it it gets warm. because my baby is coming in 7 weeks i still have time to use it myself, but i'm sure the baby will love it as much as i do... it's a great size for a cot or even for a pram in the cold winter time. i recommend it for everyone who wants to keep their babies nice and warm.
