Fireworks of colour espacially for needlepoint enthusiastics. Both is possible, either reproducing projects introduced in this book or just use this book for inspiration on the use of colours for needlepoint or home decorations. The photographies are really great. This book is an absolutely MUSTHAVE.

Wonderful but a reprint

This wonderful book is simply a reprint of a much older book by Kaffe, and the description fails to reveal this. New cover, new photo, old book.

Even if you don't do needlepoint, this is a lovely book

Firstly, this is a reprint of the Glorious Needlepoint that went out of print. Not a bad thing.
Secondly, if you love Victoriana, this is a great book. Kaffee Fassett is fascinated by overstuffed patterns and the huge flora of the Victorian age, plus the visual excitement of clutter and bric-a-brac. He has been able to translate his art into some very Victorian kittens, complete with sweet expressions and sugary pink bow. This design even makes my manly (but cat-loving) husband melt.
