Product Description

A book for everyone who is seeking answers to life's essential questions. We all have problems; we want to know why we are here, why there is pain and how we can make life more enjoyable. The four parts of this book tell us exactly how the wisdom of Kabbalah came about, who discovered and developed it, and what they discovered. Afterwards, the book tells us about the world we live in and finally, it explains how we can make our lives better for ourselves and for our children. Part One discusses the discovery of the wisdom of Kabbalah, and how it was developed, and finally concealed until our time. Part Two introduces the gist of the wisdom of Kabbalah, using 10 easy drawings to help us understand the structure of the spiritual worlds, and how they relate to our world. These drawings are accompanied by explanatory texts that make understanding Kabbalah very easy. Part Three reveals Kabbalistic concepts that are largely unknown to the public. For example: the Creator exists nowhere but within us; our senses reveal what they sense, not what is really out there; and reality is nothing but a reflection of our perception, and hence changes when we change. Part Four elaborates on practical means you and I can take in order to make our lives here better and more enjoyable for us and for our children. It explains how we can implement Kabbalistic principles such as freedom of choice and the power of society, and thus become more whole and fulfilled individuals.

Practical and extraordinary 28 Feb 2009
By N. DeMerchant - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
For anyone seeking meaning in their lives or anyone who feels that have yet to find a purpose to their existence I hope they are fortunate enough to find any book written by Michael Laitman. I have found that while they all speak of the same thing; they all have something new to offer the reader. The first part of this book speaks about the origin and history of Kabbalah which may peak the interest of any history buff or anyone interested in understanding what Kabbalah says about the creation of mankind. As with any book (and this one is less than 200 pages) the historical perspective feels incomplete, but it provides enough information to lead the reader on their own quest for information.

I've found that few people know or have any working understanding of what Kabbalah is about and what they do know is not what Laitman or his organization, Bnei Baruch, teaches. The second part of this book is appropriately named "the gist." There is no mention of red strings and evil eyes as we've heard about in trendy magazines and on television. It does provide exactly what it suggests; a general description of what Kabbalah is all about. The rest of the book deals with "Reality" and "Correction" and also provides a section with common questions and answers. Any serious student of Kabbalah will tell you that further reading and study materials are necessary, but this is a good place to start.

Kabbalah for Beginners 24 Aug 2009
By Kristi Alam - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Kabbalah for Beginners reminds us that at one time man knew that there was only one force governing this world. Man lived in spirituality and was closer to nature in his daily life. This book explains that over the course of generations, we've evolved. Our egos evolved and have grown to a point where we no longer feel connected to this governing force. As we have declined in spirituality, we have lost that knowledge and we experience suffering because of it. This book, with the question and answer section as well as the chapter describing great Kabbalists of the past, helps us regain that knowledge by teaching us the fundamental steps needed in order to get back to spirituality.

A Perfect Introduction to Authentic Kabbalah 11 May 2009
By Peter E. Latona - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
As the title implies, this is a perfect place to begin your exploration of authentic Kabbalah. The book quickly points out that anyone can study Kabbalah. It does not matter what your age, gender or religion might be. The study of Kabbalah is for anyone who has burning questions such as "What is the meaning of my life?" "What is the purpose of my existence?" If you have such questions, you are in the right place.

Although this book is a very quick read, it does present the essential ingredients of this path and provide you with a blue print for moving forward. It is a terrific introduction!
