The long length of this lead and the the fact that it's got a tripod mount on the flash end make it an essential for your camera bag.

This bit of kit suffers from a major fundamental flaw. All the connectors are made of metal except the one that needs to be the toughest of them all. The underside of the flash end is made of plastic and consequently if you were to knock it on something it can easily snap off and render the entire piece of kit useless. Unless you are using this for fixed tripod work I would not recommend it at all.
