With the KWorld DVBT-380U TV Stick, you can watch Freeview channels either full screen or in a smaller window on your PC or laptop. I recently purchased the DVBT-380U. I was uncertain as to just how rewarding my purchase would be. I was pleasantly surprised to relaise that this product does exactly what it says. My PC now has the capability to be a fully functioning TV. Not only can I now watch all the digital channels but this dongle also has the capability to record films or TV programmes, has the time shifting function allowing you to watch TV you have missed and it also provides a 10 day TV schedule (better than any TV guide I've ever bought). In short, this product is a compilation of many devices all rolled into 1 small dongle. I am so pleased with this product, I can not go on enough!

Amazon Verified Purchase
I received this item - installed the software, then initiated the sytem scan. Tried it with my laptop, my brand spanking new desktop, tried it with the aerial supplied in the best position I could get (3 stories up in my attic where even the most primitive aerial works well with ordinary TVs) even tried it with my external aerial which gives excellent reception. So it is not the computer, it is not the aerial it must be the dongle. The best I could get from this was a postage stamp sized, halting, jumpy images with broken sound.

This is an amazing little gadget for the price. I am fortunate in being in a strong reception area for Freeview and with the little antenna supplied I can pick up 42 channels, TV and radio. With a roof antenna it would be a cost effective way of getting TV onto your PC.
The supplied software is fine, it also works well with Media Centre. Vista compatible too, download Vista drivers from KWorld web site.
All in all I am more than happy with this item.

Useless or a dud
This is the second USB Digital receiver I've tried. However, unlike my first one, the Creative DVB-T Tuner which did pick up a few channels, this KWorld picked up Zero. Read more
