Have now used the Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 books - they are great for going over the materials in the study books. There are lots of practice questions which start straightforward and then become more complex. These books have been invaluable for improving my son's maths skills and in giving him much more confidence in his abilities.

I bought this for my son half way through year 3 and he really enjoyed working though it. From doing it we as parents can see the sort of things he's learning at school. He needed a little help and then he liked us to mark it at the end of each page.
We've now bought him the Year Four book but he's only done one page, there's still time!

We bought this book in order to help with our son's increasing homework. It's given us plenty of exercises and ideas to use, and as a result his maths is improving rapidly. We also downloaded Magical Maths by Savifontis onto our mobile phones - it's a great little app for him to use too.

This follows the national curriculum and covers most Y3 work. Some questions are a little tricky but I guess it is to challenge the child. Helped my daughter a lot and we have bought the Y4 ones.

I brought this so my daughter and we could review her school work for last year. The exercise book is great. Its allowed me to gain a better understanding of what she was taught last year, and she's gained confidence in her weaker areas.
We've found it great fun over the last few weeks. I've always enjoyed numbers and i think that's starting to wear off on my daughter too.

The exercises are quite well graduated and not impossible to manage. They also are presented in a nice way and don't put the children off tackling them. Maybe a little more on fractions would be useful.
