Krk provide many of the top studio's with all of their professional studio monitors, and the g2 versions of the almost industry standard rp series speakers means that's a tradition that is set to continue. The rp monitors feature several of the key design elements found in krk's premium models, many of which have become the studio standard for the world's finest engineers, producers and musicians. The g2's now feature an improved and radically curved front baffle design. Not only do the speakers look different, so they can sound better, and offer a a wider "sweet spot". Traditional rectangular speakers with square or slightly rounded edges suffer from diffraction as sounds leaving the edge of the cabinet are reflected back into the original sound field, and at different time intervals. This phase distortion creates a "narrow" or boxy" sound. The g2s eliminates this issue with radically engineered curved surfaces, so diffraction is virtually eliminated. Simply put, you'll get better sound in a wider area. The new rokit's rigid wood cabinet construction improves overall structural integrity, extended low frequency response and increased damping characteristics. Retaining the same stadards set by the preceeding model, the g2s feature a proprietary signature yellow woofer made of a woven glass aramid composite that delivers a tight low-end response and a soft dome tweeter for natural sounding highs. The drivers are electronically crossed over and are bi-amplified for increased efficiency. All of this is housed in an attractive cabinet with radiused corners that reduce edge diffraction resulting in better audio imaging. The rear input panel features phono plug and xlr connectors to accommodate any application and give the best sound you likely to hear from any other speaker in this bracket......stunning!

Bought a pair of these to go with my computer's E-MU 0404 USB 2.0, Reason 4 and my Korg Microkontrol.
Was thinking of buying the RPG 8's but decided to go with these instead and im not disappointed. They are heaven to listen to.
When using Reason i EQ'd all my tunes through my old speakers, and when they got replaced with these it showed how inaccurate stereo speakers are compared to monitors. You hear clarity & sounds you have never heard before.
They sound amazing, look the bollocks.
Im buying the KRK RPG2-10s powered subwoofer in the near future to compliment these amazing monitors.
If you want tight bass responce, treble that doesnt blow your eardrums, and a 3D listening experience you must buy these.
There is so much more i could write about these monitors, but id be here all day.
Do the research if your thinking of buying and you will not be dissapointed.

These are ideal professional sounding monitors for a project or home recording studio (and even commercial studios or radio stations). They are very well made, solid and pretty heavy. They pack a very powerful punch for their size and have an exceptionally clear sound field. I've used these in my studio for 12 months now and i'm over the moon with the sound quality for the money. Highly recommended :)
