I have to start off by saying that this book was hard to put down even though the main characters were rather clichéd. I can't say anymore about them but you can guess the subplot!
Too many twists to this tale than could be possible but I didn't mind really. It is a shame that she doesn't put as much work into her characters as her plots.
A great read, especially when you don't want anything too taxing.

This book is excellent for those who like a non-taxing holiday-type read. Welcome to the world of the white rabbit. A sinister killer who picks his players for a deadly game of Alice in Wonderland dungeons and dragons game.

D&D and all that 12 Sep 2005
Format:Paperback
This is well worth a read; Ms Spindler does not disappoint with her latest and as usual the plot is pacy and the characters both endearing and believable.

However, I did hang just about every character - and was still wrong in the end!

It centres around a RPG (for those who do not have grungy teenagers around the house - Role Playing Game); the game becomes 'live' and people are dying for real - ex-cop turned student gets involved and when the real cops get involved that's when the sparks begin to fly (romantically that is).

Would be good to hear more about one of the Characters who has a 'bit' part - Billie - she sounded fun and interesting - but maybe Ms Spindler is leaving that for another day.

Twists and turns and tension throughout - and you will be checking your kids inboxes after you read it!!
