Another change of title for the UK release. This was released in the USA as DIENER.
Plot. After a chat in the diner with a waitress named Rose, Ken kills her then kills Fred the cook. A couple walk in and Ken serves them coffee. As he's about to add them to the body count in walks the sherrif. While Ken ponders the situation the sherrif begins talking to Fred who he sees walking in the back. Ken is dumbstruck to see Fred and then Rose. Somehow they have both come back as zombies and Fred bites the sherrif. Ken takes the sherrifs gun.
This is a low budget zombie flick and a little bit different to anything done before. The people behave so matter of fact as to the zombie presence and are more mindful to their own marital problems aswell as being in the presence of a serial killer. It's very chat and character driven piece and might be described as dark humour, but I'd say it's different. The whole thing changes in the final act when things get really serious. There's a lot of blood splatter and a tiny amount of goriness. It's nicely acted with some interesting visuals. I liked it even if the whole thing was a bit slow paced but the dialogue was well written and I liked the conversations. Having a serial killer in a zombie film has been done before but it worked well here as the main character
