5.0 out of 5 stars Works well and good value for money 29 Mar 2009

Kenwood Compact FP120 Food Processor, 1.4 Litre (White)

This processor is a little gem in the kitchen. It's smaller than the average food processor but zips through all the veg I've put through it so far for soups and cold slaw. It's also nice and light (my old one weighed a lot more) and as I like to keep it in a cupboard, is easy to get out and use. It's got a strong little motor which is not too noisy. Glad I bought it.

5.0 out of 5 stars fab product 26 Jun 2010

I bought this to replace aged processor. I have trouble chopping and grating by hand the model is just right size, not too small(those that can only do enough for one portion) not too large that you think its too much effort to use. First thing I used it for was to grate cheese very quick and easy to use and clean. Next a victoria sponge 2 egg then 4 egg size, mixed well, best ever, rose twice size of my normal attempt by hand. Just be very careful with blade as extremely sharp. Light weight too, easily to store and move.

    4.0 out of 5 stars kenwood FP120 food processor 19 Nov 2009
    Colour Name:White|Verified Purchase
A nice basic processor, ideal for the tedious task of grating, which is the main reson for purchase. Not used it very much so far butit does make a good bread dough in a very short time.
Very pleased with it so far.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Splendid 3 Feb 2009
    Colour Name:White
Bought this as a gift for a family member who had it on his Amazon wish list - he had researched this model and was delighted with its speed, capacity and the extra cutting blades supplied, and was not disappointed with the reality. I was so impressed have decided to get one myself. An excellent product all round and extremely good value.

4.0 out of 5 stars Super buy! 8 July 2009

Really nice product for very good price!
Used it to make cakes soups and all sorts of everyday recipes! The one and only problem is that it only has one speed but it doesn't bother me at all now that I got used to it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Why get a larger processor? 1 Nov 2009
    Colour Name:White
Originally purchased to use while I don't have a full size processor, I like this compact size better. The attachments give so many options, making this very much multi-purpose in the kitchen. My only slight complaint is the lid, which needs to be locked into position for the machine to turn on, often slips out of place.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for single or couple 23 Sep 2009
    Colour Name:White|Verified Purchase
Small and neat, it takes up very little room on the work surface. I've used it for grating veg and making pastry and crumble so far. All working fine. Clearly this is not for heavy duty work, but for small amounts it works fine.

3.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for! 19 Jan 2010
    Colour Name:White
If 3.5 starts was an option I'd have given it that, however, it isn't quite worth 4 stars.

As per the title, you get what you pay for and this was a rather 'cheap and cheerful' food processor. I didn't expect it to do the same job as the more expensive options but this item does have an annoying habit of pushing the contents rather high up the bowl and therefore leaving them 'unprocessed'. A speed control might have eliminated this problem but then that would've made the food processor a more expensive item.

Like I said, you get what you pay for.
