Looking at the photo of this bike you might suppose that at least the chain guard was metal plate. It isn't. It is a black plastic fabric as is the guard over the rear wheel spokes. You might suppose if you view the picture carefully that there is a retractable stand visible behind the rack and with legs towards the rear hub. It may be on the bike pictured, but it isn't on the bike supplied. A good metal centre stand from Halfords is 17-00 and I have fitted one. At least the base plate and hole are there for an easy fix.The rest of the bike is well painted and prepared. Though why the supplier undoes the fixings at the front of the rear pannier which are diabolic to fit and tighten up is a mystery!
The rest of the assembly is quite straightforward provided you have a good set of spanners a clear workspace and some patience!

On balance. Well, as above you get what you pay for and I am left wishing I had bought a better bike for more money.
