"Turning Surfaces into Sound". The K-box uses a hybrid technology of standard speaker, delivering the mid to high frequencies and a Gel Audio® driver delivering low end Bass frequencies significantly below what is available from a conventional loudspeaker of a similar size. K-box comes with the unit, case, 3.5mm jack cable and usb cable. It's rechargeable by USB and you can use it while it it charging. The cables are a good length. You can use a USB mains adapter (like the one that comes with the iPhone) to recharge it too. The battery life is up to 20 hours of playtime per charge.

The K-box is a really fun and unique portable speaker. It fits easily in a handbag or pocket and it's probaby ideal for camping or traveling in situations where you'd like to listen to music or have better sound on a laptop, mobile phone,mp3 player or handheld game. The sound when compared with other audio speakers of it's size is much better. Most small portable speakers are tinny and lack bass. This one gives out a better sound and is also impressively loud. Most of all, it's fun and fuss-free which I like a lot about it. It's well worth it and does what it says on the box. I use it with my iphone and my psp mainly. But, I have also used it with my laptop and my mini-dvd player.

The K-box Gel portable speaker was purchased as a birthday present for my son,he is into new gadgetry.
He looked puzzled when opening it but was well impressed with sound quality when used.A super present.
